Durley Park Classroom, 950 South Hill St., Oxnard, California, 93033, United States.

Hours: 9:00 am to noon, Monday / Wednesday mornings. OGMS instructor Jean pSmith leads.

This is an opportunity to work on your own self-directed projects. Continue working on your latest class project, Clear out some UFOs (un-finished objects), get ready for the Ventura County Fair, knock out a few birthday gifts etc. You can purchase workshop positions for either Mondays or Wednesdays- or both. The consumables fee has been built into the ticket. 

There will not be any instruction during the open studio time. Attendees should plan their projects based on their current skill set. The instructor will be available for advice and support, but student projects must be self-directed. Please note, we will not conduct any lost wax casting or lapidary work in this studio. Cuttlebone and/or sand casting will incur additional usage fees due to the large amounts of gas consumed by these activities. Please inquire prior to registering, if you plan to melt metals for cuttlebone or sand casting.

There will be no proration for missed days.

Requirements:

Current and/or past OGMS Silversmith Class attendees, who have attended the safety & classroom orientation meeting, and are fully comfortable with basic fabrication processes. 

Supplies:

Attendees will be responsible for their own project materials.

  

In order to complete registration you MUST be returned to the eventzlla confirmation page.

If you don't receive a confirmation email, you are NOT registered for the class.

Classes are conducted by volunteer members of the Oxnard Gem & Mineral Society, under the the auspices of the City of Oxnard, Dept. of Recreation.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation is allowed within the registration sales period only. Once the sales period has closed, no refund is given. All cancellations will incur a $10 "loss of sales" penalty.
Please make certain that you are able to attend all classes prior to registering.
